Built on the July 2026 TikTok in which a New Yorker filmed two potholes near his home, tagged the mayor, and came home from work to find both filled the same day, plus the 100,000th pothole filled inside the first 100 days on Olympia Boulevard, Staten Island. The councilman's line about taking credit for changing a lightbulb is real and is the argument the whole book answers.
